This is the way we like to have grumbles settled -- quickly, easily, and only involving one e-mail.

Tim C. of Little Neck, NY, wrote to us complaining that "they owe me 800 bucks for about 2 months now.

"In the begining they were very respectful and had all kinds of excuses. First they had a problem with their check writing system, so they asked if i could do a bank wire. No problem -- I immedietly got them all the info they wanted. Then, sure enough, there was a problem with their wiring system and so forth and so on."

Tim added that, "I find it amazing after the Superbowl I got a payout from a sportsbook for $2500 in 2 days but this is taking months".

When we contacted him, Owen, from the casino's Finance Department, agreed with most of what Tim told us. More importantly, he said that Tim would be paid in two days -- at the most.

"This player has not been paid yet – That much is true," Owen said. "He has been waiting for over 15 business days and has been receiving explanations for it and has been contacted by me each and every single time that he inquired in regards to his pending withdrawal.

"The reason is very simple. Since both we and whole industry suffered from major processing difficulties the past 2 months – especially with our wiring system, some players suffered delays with receiving their money. Of course we had to replace some of our processors and readjust to the new situation that we were facing.

"We've only recently managed to overcome our wiring processing difficulties and started reissuing wires. That caused several delays with our payments abilities".

Owen called it,"a most unfortunate situation that is causing us much grief and might even damage our reputation in the industry."

When will Tim be paid?

"As soon as I’ll receive a notification that I am able once again to process wire transfers – Tim will receive his winnings, this is a matter of a day or 2 at the most," said Owen.
