Thebes Casino
The kind of dispute we like -- easily solved.

Two truths: 1: We really don't know who was at fault here, the casino or the player. 2: It really doesn't matter as the problem was solved and everyone is happy.
Tim C, of Little Neck, New York, played at the Thebes Casino, cashed in for over $1000, and then tried to withdraw.
He was told that he would have to send them his ID, credit card, and a utility bill. Tim tells us that not only did he do this, but he checked with them on the phone and they confirmed receiving it.
"They claim they received them...then when I e-mailed them again to ask when I'll be paid," Tim told us. "They send me an e-mail claiming they never got the documents..so they give me 2 different fax numbers I fax the documents to both numbers and then go to the 24 hour customer service people and ask them if they received my documents...once again they claim they did and finance will be in touch with me shortly. 2 weeks goes by, I hear nothing from them so I send another e-mail asking when am I going to get paid. I get an e-mail from them this morning which was kinda threatening but more B.S once again claiming they never received my documents".
Not so, Martin from the Thebes Finance Department told us.
"Tim is still missing the mentioned documents which are required for a withdrawal.
"I have already contacted our Fax Department and verified that unfortunately we have yet to receive them.
"In addition, I was unable to find any confirmation from our Support department for the arrival of Tim's documents".
Did Tim send them and they got lost in the Fax Department? Did Tim not send them at all? Who knows? Who cares? Gambling Grumbles does not exist to discover the truth behind existential questions. We are here to moderate disputes.
This seemed like an easy dispute to solve.
What could be more simple than this suggestion Gambling Grumbles sent to Thebes?
"Let me suggest that we take the following steps to resolve this:
"1. You double check with your fax department to be certain that the forms are not sitting somewhere in their office.
"2. If they tell you that they do not have them, that Tim send them again, this time not by fax but as attachments to an e-mail, and that he cc me on the e-mail. That way I will know for a fact whether or not he sent them to you."
Thebes accepted that, Tim agreed, the e-mail was sent and Martin acknowledged its receipt and informed us that "I am contacting you in regards to Tim's wire transfer.
"It was issued today and should arrive to Tim's bank account in a matter of several days".
As I said, this is the kind of dispute that Gambling Grumbles likes.
